EFD Induction becomes ENRX on March 27th.

HardLine M modular induction hardening machine

Maximum flexibility at low cost

EFD Induction is proud to announce a new generation of vertical hardening machines: The Hard-Line M - a modular hardening machine designed for the future.

EFD Induction is launching a new generation of vertical hardening machines. The HardLine M modular hardening machine is equipped with all the functions that are required for smart manufacturing in the age of Industry 4.0. The HardLine M boasts ergonomic design, a well-laid-out work area, and good accessibility. All for easy of production and maintenance.

EFD Induction is a global leader supplying advanced induction heating systems to many industries worldwide. With more than seventy years of experience in designing and manufacturing induction heating solutions, EFD Induction draws on its expertise with the innovative Hardline M machine series. HardLine M is using modules with proven components – providing maximum flexibility at low cost.

Fast scanning speeds, high tolerance positioning, and digital converter technology ensure short cycle times, energy efficiency, with low unit costs. EFD Induction ensures less downtime due to good availability of spare parts as well as swift support starting with remote diagnosis by an experienced service team.

"Our target group are medium-sized companies that wish to expand their production line with an induction hardening machine," says Magnus Vold, Chief Commercial Officer at EFD Induction Group. "It's for companies who want a machine with robust components, who know that the EFD Induction standard is an assurance of quality and that they can rely on our expertise."

Every customer can configure the machine modules according to their needs. For example, the machines can be loaded manually for product ramp-up and then automated at a later stage if the volume increases.

"The machines can be used for a wide range of different workpieces in terms of weight, length and diameter," says Helmut Schulte, Sales Director in Europe for induction hardening machines. "Furthermore, a wide variety of frequency converters are available in various powers and frequencies, both in parallel and in serial oscillating circuit technology".

Another highlight is the machine control which is based on advanced PLC technology. With clearly arranged functions and detailed monitoring, the machine operator can always keep an eye on the status of the machine.

“Lower capital investment is a key issue,” adds Magnus Vold. "The new HardLine M cuts costs considerably!"
