Induction postheating is used in the tube and pipe industry to eliminate hardening structures, which may have arisen after welding. New steel quality guidelines, in particular APT, often demand reheating after welding.
Thanks to the accuracy and controllability of heat induction, it is possible to increase precision in postheating. This, in turn, produces pipes that are more durable, more resistant to cracks and less susceptible to corrosion.
